Founding project of San Diego CORE, Quemaduras del Sol was a rotating platform with a two-sided LED-illuminated sun effigy. The central structure provided a support for the sun and also a second story that participants coud climb up into.
The LED Lighting is currently undergoing renovation for permanent indoor installation.
